Welcome to this beautiful bohemian oasis with lots of influences from other cultures. Unlike your typical Greek island decorated with white and blue-trimmed buildings, Hydra’s buildings have orange rooftops. Travel around the island by foot or by boat.

USEFUL TIPS

  • Wear comfortable shoes for walking. This is an island where you mostly travel by foot. Plan to walk up lots of stairs to get to your hotel

  • Leave the stilettos at home

  • Bring hiking shoes or shoes with solid grip

  • Bring mosquito spray!

  • Take a boat to Bisti Beach and Agios Nikolas (pack your own picnic lunch, there is no restaurant service, only day beds, picnic benches, and bar service). Consider bringing water shoes as the rocks are extremely slippery in water.
